Chilipoker becomes the official sponsor of the "European Deepstack Poker Championships" in Dublin

Chilipoker and D4 Events today announced the finalisation of an exclusive three-year partnership for the "European Chilipoker Deepstack Open" in Dublin. This exciting deal enables Chilipoker to become the official sponsor of next month's tournament with continued sponsorship for the events in 2011 and 2025.
"The European Deepstack Poker Championship 2025 by Chilipoker" will take place at the Ballsbridge Inn Hotel in Dublin from February 4th to February 7th, with a total of 7 scheduled events. The €500 + €50 Main Event is already sold out with 400 registered players. The 'deepstack' structure of this event makes it a very attractive tournament for poker players: with a massive 50,000 starting stack and blind levels of 60 and 90 minutes, the Main Event will be played over 3 days, with the Final Table expected on Sunday 7th.
Direct registrations for the Main Event are now closed, however Chilipoker is giving you the last opportunities to qualify for this event. Thanks to an exclusive online Super Satellites on January 26th, 20:00 CET, Chilipoker is offering at least 2 guaranteed seats.
This partnership is the next step for Chilipoker after the signed agreement with the Ireland based Sports TV 'Setanta Sports', which resulted in the exciting launch of website: Setantabet. PokerStars and Betsafe Poker collects money for the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
The devastating earthquake in Haiti, feared to have killed tens of thousands, has had most of us thinking we’d like to help in some way. PokerStars has been quick to facilitate this after previous disasters, and once again it is giving you an easy way to donate cash.
PokerStars have set up a Haiti Earthquake Appeal. All the money raised will go straight to the Red Cross to help it’s relief efforts in Haiti – and PokerStars has pledged to match every dollar raised!
The appeal is running until noon on January 31, and here’s how you can help the people of Haiti by playing poker at PokerStars :

New tournament schedule at PKR Poker

More tournaments. Bigger prizes. Lower buy-ins. PKR totally revamped their tournament schedule.

PaddyPowerPoker first to launch Instant Play poker on Ipoker-network

Paddy Power Poker today launches Instant Play poker, enabling players to play anytime, anywhere. Ireland's largest poker room is the first on the iPoker network to launch the No Download software, which allows players to enjoy the same functionality as the existing client without having to download any software. All players need is internet access via a web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox), while administrative permission for machines used (Instant Play software is compatible with PC, Mac and Linux) will not be required.
"We're thrilled to extend our product offering to include a non-downloadable version of our software. The fact that players can now use the Instant Play software anytime, anywhere gives them the flexibility to play at times that were previously unsuitable" said Paddy Power, Communications Manager for paddypowerpoker. "It also means that players who don't want to download the standard software client can try out the iPoker software on paddypowerpoker.
